Emergency / urgent

  • seizures or suspected seizures
  • breathing difficulty, blue color, severe shortness of breath
  • head injury, fall, loss of consciousness
  • sudden worsening or marked lethargy
  • refusal to eat with signs of dehydration
  • high fever in a young child or severe general condition
  • rapid loss of previously acquired skills
  • any situation that feels urgent to the parent

Planned in-person review

  • persistent asymmetry of movement or posture
  • concerns about hearing, vision or contact
  • significant concerns about tone or movement quality
  • developmental skills delayed over time
  • questions after a pediatrician, neurologist or orthopedist report
  • unclear test or examination results
  • complex pregnancy, birth history or prematurity
