- breathing difficulty, blue color, severe shortness of breath
- head injury, fall, loss of consciousness
- sudden worsening or marked lethargy
- refusal to eat with signs of dehydration
- high fever in a young child or severe general condition
- rapid loss of previously acquired skills
- any situation that feels urgent to the parent
Planned in-person review
- persistent asymmetry of movement or posture
- concerns about hearing, vision or contact
- significant concerns about tone or movement quality
- developmental skills delayed over time
- questions after a pediatrician, neurologist or orthopedist report
- unclear test or examination results
- complex pregnancy, birth history or prematurity
